Community Services
Even as a young church we are often asked about our involvement in the community. For example, we might hear, "What does Riverside do for children and street kids?" Or,
"How is Riverside involved in caring for the underprivileged?"
These are good questions.
As a young church fellowship it’s important to make the right decisions early. We could do our best and stretch our limited resources in our efforts to “do things” in our community, but is it really necessary to replicate ministries that are already doing an excellent job meeting specific needs in our community?
We have chosen to funnel human and financial resources into a handful of organisations and missions that are doing a far better job within their spheres of influence than we could ever do.
Below you will find the Compassion Ministries we currently support.
If you simply click on a logo, you will be taken directly to the ministry's Web site. If you find an organisation that is addressing a need which captures your heart, please contact it directly to find out about the opportunities for personal ministry. And don't forget to consider how your entire community group can get involved.

In India, Rickshaws are a major mode of taxi transportation for people taking short journeys. Owning a Rickshaw enables a poor family to have debt free, good income producing small business that permanently supports them. Sponsoring a Rickshaw is truly a gift that keeps on giving, day after day and year after year.
